TCG Card Shop Simulator - Workshop Bulk Box Guide

A quick guide to the variants of the bulk box, crafted at the workshop.

Intro

The 0.47 update added different rarities to the bulk boxes you can create at the workshop. This guide will briefly go over how I have found to craft each rarity.

All of this is with the workshop set to "Tetramon Base" and "Any Rarity."

White

TCG Card Shop Simulator white box

The white box is the most basic and also was the only type of box you could craft before the update.

The white box has no rarity and is the cheapest to sell, usually hovering around $10 market price.

I consistently got the white box when I set the minimum slider to $0.01 and the maximum slider to $1.00. Any higher on the maximum slider and you might lose money creating white boxes. You probably don't want to focus white boxes once you're mainly opening higher value card packs.

Yellow (HG)

TCG Card Shop Simulator yellow box

The yellow box (High Grade) is the second tier of box you can craft.

The yellow box usually hovers around $70 market price.

I consistently got the yellow box when I set the minimum slider to $1 and the maximum slider to $2.50. I believe this is the optimal maximum for this quality of box, as any higher and you could potentially be using cards that could be used in the higher rarity boxes.

Pink Box (MG)

TCG Card Shop Simulator pink box

The pink box (Master Grade) is the third tier of box you can craft.

The pink box usually hovers around $120 market price.

I consistently got the pink box when I set the minimum slider to $1.50 and the maximum slider to $3.25. I believe this is the optimal maximum for this quality of box, as any higher and you could potentially be using cards that could be used in the highest rarity box.

Red Box (PG)

The red box (Perfect Grade) is the highest tier of box you can craft.

The red box usually hovers around $280 market price.

I consistently got the red box when I set the minimum slider to $2 and the maximum slider to $4.

Final Words

Just a couple takeaways to finish with:

  • When I set the minimum slider to the minimum amount and the maximum slider to the maximum amount, I get only white boxes. The minimum amount is the most important amount to set, and the maximum can be changed generally.
  • The amounts I listed are what I believe to be the estimated optimal amount. However, if you do not have enough cards to fit the rarity of box you are seeking, you can up the maximum amount to throw in some more higher value cards.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: This guide is most likely only accurate when you have a LOT of excess cards. When you start crafting a lot of boxes, these numbers will change and the margins for crafting each box rarity will decrease.
  • If you have limited cards after crafting a lot of bulk boxes, you can just set the maximum slider to $5, and the minimum slider high, and then just slowly decrease the minimum slider as you craft / are unable to craft boxes.
